Spacious light and airy apartment in a well maintained apartment block. All facilities worked well and we would not hesitate to recommend the apartment. The interaction with both the owner, Jerome and their agent John Fay went smoothly. The apartment is situated near to a number of important monuments and museums including the Pantheon and the Jardin Des Plantes. Many restaurant options are available within walking distance as are a selection of small supermarkets. The apartment is well serviced by bus and metro options.

Too much clutter.. lot of small items must be removed.. lot of wobbly furniture that can fall must be removed .. if possible bathroom must be renovated.. bathroom looks very shabby

Possibly a little tired in parts but an excellent location, particularly for public transport. The access was available as arranged and Jerome very accomodating.

Fantastic location in the 5th - several excellent boulangeries, boucheries, epiceries sur la rue mouffetard about a 7 minute walk. Luxembourg gardens about a 10 minute walk. Many bus lines and metro stops nearby. Quiet, safe neighborhood. The apartment is larger than we expected; two good-sized bedrooms, a large living room and a kitchen with an eating area. A view of Val-de-Grace from the living room window. The plumbing is European style - hand-held shower, toilet in a separate closet, mild unpleasant smells (we kept the bathroom door closed and that helped). The proprietaires were very kind; they called me a couple of times to confirm our visit and to go over how to get the key and other logistics. My wife and I and our two grown daughters stayed there. Plenty of room. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed the apartment immensely and would certainly return. It was exceedingly comfortable and near the metro and shops. The owner took the time to show me the metro, the grocery, the bank, and the shops on the day we arrived.

Great location on bus routes, close to Rue Mouffetard with some great restaurants and shops. The ambience is very warm and we felt at home immediately. Jerome was wonderful. We would recommend this apartment without reservation.

Lovely appartment with a personal feeling, well equipped (including library!). A very helpful host. Well located in a calm area, close to good shops, cafés, restaurants, convenient for buses and metro. The market street rue Mouffetard is just five minutes away.

The owner met us on arrival and what a pleasant experience of friendliness and good energy. The apartment was perfectly located and exceeded our expectations in terms of what we saw when we booked it online. We loved the location and one of our highlights were the Rue Mouffetard market down the road - where one could buy the most amazing fresh produce! we would love to go back and stay in the apartment in future.

lovely apt, in a very nice, quiet location. Advice from Jerome was really good. One thing that could improve the apartment would be a shower rose and screen over the bath. Beds very comfortable, kitchen facilities were very good. Had a great stay in Paris, a great start to our holiday in France. regards Greg and friends

The apartment was excellent. The owner was a super nice fellow that help us with planning our stay in Paris. Also he helped us with our luggage going up to the 5th floor.The owner had many pamphlets of Paris that he let us use. The apartment was very nice and comfortable. It was near local restaurants and stores. Also near the subways. The apartment was fully equipment with towels, dishes, pots and cutlery. I would definitely return and use this apartment. Too bad a lot of the workers in Paris, such as Museum employees weren't as friendly as the owner.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I stayed with my daughter and her best friend, and the apartment was the perfect size. It was beautifully decorated, and my daughter said she believed it simply felt like the way she thought Paris should be. We were very pleased. I slept like a baby each night and could easily have stayed longer!

Great location. Jerome provided very helpful advice about transportation, local market etc. Great amenities - like other comments a hand-held shower is a bit awkward but that was the only negative. The positives in terms of ambiance, wi-fi, comfort, being able to wash clothes etc more than made up for this. Would definitely return!!! Thanks so much.

The apartment was exactly as advertised. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived and spent a lot of time explaining how everything worked. The bus was right out the front door and the metro just short walk. The neighborhood bakery was too good to be true, so we checked it out every morning! Our party of four were senior citizens and we would have liked some sort of grab bar for getting in and out of the bathtub. When we return to Paris, we will try and stay in this unit again. Also, the cabbie recommended by the owner, a Mr Ing? met us at the depot and also picked us up on time and got us to the correct terminal at the airport. It was very nice to not have to worry about finding a reliable driver.

Everything was completely satisfactory. Jerome's tips about the neighborhood market and restaurants were very helpful. The location was off the tourist path and we found we interacted with local Parisians much more than at other locations.

The apartment suited our needs and was very comfortable. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. They took me to the local shopping area to get food and helped me get oriented in the neighborhood. We slept well and found the location of the apartment very convenient to public transport and to major Avenues by foot. I can recommend 6 rue Berthollet to anyone who has to stay in Paris for a prolonged period of time because you feel very much at home.

The apartment could not have been better - clean, well furnished and in an excellent location. The owner was extremely gracious and kind in every respect to insure that we had a good experience. I would highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment was well situated, well equipped and quiet. The beds were comfortable. Lots of restaurants close by, a supermarket and transport if you wished. The friendly owners met us on our arrival, showed us how everything worked in the apartment and even quickly took as to the supermarket so that we knew where to go. Possibly the only thing we would comment on and that I believe we had already seen on the website reviews before we booked, was the shower arrangement was a little awkward. Perhaps a curtain across the bath would help or a fitted screen. Other than that, everything was delightful and would recommend it to anyone requiring a home away from home.

Really good comfortable flat. Very well equipped. Great location near Rue Mouffetard with its market and reasonably priced restaurants. Good transport links with a bus stop just outside the flat.This was our 7th visit to Paris in 7 different flats in Arron 5,6 and 7 . This is a flat we would go back to. Only disappointment was the lack of a decent shower in the flat. Hand held shower without even a wall attachment was a bit awkward and very old fashioned.

We stayed four nights in this apartment recently. We found the apartment to be perfectly satisfactory for our needs. Although it was in the Latin Quarter, it seemed to be more on the fringe so we found we had to walk a bit further than anticipated to get to the center of things. All in all a pleasant stay. Access to good, free Wi Fi was a bonus. We were a group of four adults and the apartment was spacious enough for us. The beds comfortable, nice linen, though the second bedroom was a bit noisy. The host was very good, met us on arrival (though we were straight off the plane having flown from NZ, so a bit jet lagged and not quite taking in all the information he provided for us). It is a bit of a hike up a spiral staircase to the apartment, though there is a quaint old lift for those who require it.

The apartment was very well located, walking distance to many restaurants and supermarket, and bus at the door. The home was very comfortable, and clean. even leaving a few goodies in the kitchen, and toiletries in bathroom was a nice touch. nice quiet area also. We were met on arrival at the arranged time, and were shown how everything worked. The apartment is full of bits and pieces of artwork, and books, which made it very homey. we enjoyed our stay very much.

We liked the apartment very much. It was clean, well furnished, decorated and we had everything we need. Location is good though it is about 5 minutes walk from metro. We liked that it was close to Mouffetared streat and we went there every day. We stayed in July, temperature raised to 32 deg C and it was a bit hot (no air condition) but I believe most of the year the fans will do the job.. Be careful from the stairs that are very close to the elevator. I would return to this apartment and I recommend it very much. Thank you for making my trip so enjoyable!!!

I would rate this apartment higher if there had not developed a sour smell in the kitchen while we were there. The apartment is quite charming, clean, and very comfortable for us and our travel partners. The landlord is very gracious and accommodating. Location was great being centrally located. What we especially enjoyed was the comfort of the living room for the four of us and the authentic experience of living in Paris.

The apartment was wonderful. Very clean spacious and in a central location for the RER Metro and Bus. The owner met us and was very helpful in explaining about everything in the apartment and the general area around the apartment. Very cosy. Street market very close by. Would definitely recommend the apartment.

This is a beautiful apartment, located in a fabulous neighborhood. The place was so charming, filled with beautiful objets d'art and paintings. The furniture was soft and comfortable - a very relaxing environment to return to after a day of walking around museums and seeing sights! The owners were extremely kind and helpful to us, with tips about restaurants, things to do, how to use the buses, and even helping us return the rental car to Gare Montparnasse. I would gladly stay here again - it was the best apartment I've ever rented in Paris. My only complaint would be about the weather, which I hope will be better next time. Don't hesitate to stay at rue Berthollet.
