From the balcony of the studio flat you will be able to see the sparkling lights of the Eiffel Tower at night, the Sacré Coeur on top of Montmartre Hill, and the romanesque Paris roofs. Just outside the building, Saint Martin's Canal and its waterfront, its picturesque bridges and sluice gates, and the Hôtel du Nord that won eternal fame thanks to Marcel Carné’s film, may tempt you to a leisurely stroll. The nearby shops and restaurants cater for all needs.

The nearest métro stations, République (the junction of lines 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11) and Bonsergent (line 5) give fast and easy access to all Paris monuments. If you’d rather go by bike, there is a Velib”station, where you can get self-service bicycles for 1 euro per day. Also close by, Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est will enable you to travel farther to London, Brussels, Amsterdam or Berlin.

The bed is located on a mezzanine to provide more living space, but if you don't like sleeping so close to the ceiling, there's enough space to place the mattress on the floor at night.

In the bohemian neighbourhood, referred to as the “hypercentre of trendiness” by the daily newspaper “Libération, you'll live with the Parisians and away from the tourists. You can easily walk to the Bastille area, to Belleville, Pigalle, to the Marais area, Hôtel de Ville, Saint-Michel, the Latin Quarter, Beaubourg and Les Halles.
