The apartment was comfortable and such a nice place to stay. The outdoor shower was very refreshing and perfect for summer. It was also fun to be able to play music through the speakers. The laundry hamper was not in the closet, but that only mattered on the last day when we stripped the beds. Steve was very helpful, communicative, and friendly. Overall it was a lovely apartment and stay.

Steve proved to be an excellent host. Very friendly when he saw us in at the apartment and happy to share some insider tips of where to go in the quartier. The apartment itself had the perfect vibe for our weekend with friends. If there is one thing I would recommend, it's to put an extra set of towels. One towel per person for four days is definitely doable but an extra set would have been nice, especially because I am running/ doing sports. We'd love to come back on our next visit to Paris!

It was very luminous and as advertised. It was in a great neighborhood and very silent. Steve was immensly helpful and communication and reception were excellent. Bed was good, though the main double bed could have been bigger. Kitchen and supplies were fine but cleaning was somewhat superficial. Bathroom could use renewal.

Excellent location, well planned space inside apartment. Steve is a friendly guy and the handover communication and the reception were spotless. Great 1st impression in-line with impression from website. Quality of bed, kitchen, kitchen supplies was ok but cleaning seemed to be done somewhat superficially. Bathroom kit has lot of black spots, could need a fresh-up. New towels and duvet would be a recommendation. All in all easy to fix points to restore the full glory of this actually very nice private quiet place.

The space was perfect for me and my friends and it worked out perfectly. Was in a great location, easy access to the subway. Communication was a bit non-existent but thankfully we didn't have any emergencies with the apartment.

Fantastic location, exactly what we needed for the few days we were there. The landlord was absolutely fantastic, and helpful regarding the local places to visit whilst we were there. The best birthday ever thanks to this hidden little gem which myself and friends will be sure to visit again.

Wonderful apartment in an amazing area. Ease of access to all tourist sights. We mainly traveled by foot or metro and found it extremely easy to navigate in the area. The apartment was very clean and we cooked most of our meals there with the fully equipped kitchenette. We also did a fair amount of laundry which was a treat considering most of our other bnbs did not have a washer or drying rack. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Paris and owe a great deal of our experience to our fantastic host.

We had a terrific stay in the apartment. Loved the outdoor shower! It's well situated, close to Metro and in a great neighborhood.

The apartment was comfortable and clean. Paris is an interesting experience and you must accept it as it is. We really liked the easy access to the metro and the multitude of places to eat drink shop bakeries etc etc. The terrace is a bonus and comfortable for four to have a nice bottle of wine and some cheese. If there was one thing that was a bit inconvenient was that the internet was down. No fault of the apartment but the alternative wasn't working either. I would recommend this place for sure.

Great location. Basic appartment for a great price.. Towels provided. Steve was punctual and easy to communicate with and accomodated late check out. Wifi did not work unfortunately

The apartment was perfect for our family of five (including three teen boys). Steve kindly met us to give an introduction to the apartment and surrounding area. The apartment is just off the metro and next to a fantastic bakery. We enjoyed walking along the river and eating at local cafes. The outside shower was a plus!

I love this place it's very lovely apartment. There are high windows and great terrace to enjoy sunlight. Great location near train station near main road, safe neighborhood and have everything you need nearby especially Asian restaurant. Just one thing the apartment was not so clean.

Was the best place to stay on Paris. The apartment is lovely and the kitchen and bathroom had all we need to our stay. Excellent internet and the place was clean. Very close to Notre-Dame, Centre Pompidou and easy to get to other touristic places. The owner was very kind and provided to us everything we needed, tips about the city and helps us with a taxi on our check in/out.

Great for our use! Easy to access from gare de Lyon in a rather quiet environement. Relaxed and friendly host, giving good advice where to get croissants and other great tips. Steve was totally flexible and set an additional bed for us so that the pregnant woman could stay in the big bed. Thank you! Cute dog in room, also welcoming us. We will bookmark this apartement Something rather unpleasant but not really directly related to the flat was the heavy smoking neighbours. As you do not stay very long in the aisle it was acceptable. Inside the flat we did not notice the smoke at all.

El departamento es acogedor y pequeño, pero 4 personas caben bien. Está muy bien ubicado y comunicado. Sugiero renovar las toallas y los cubre edredones.

Here is near by subway station and store. The apartment is clean, interior design is also good. Bed,table,toilet and all of here is the best.

Clean and comfortable location.

We had an excellent stay in the apartment for four days and three nights. The interior is beautifully designed and spacious. There were five of us without having any problems of being in each others way and plenty of room for sleeping and sitting. The pretty terrace is very private and is probably great during summertime, we'll definitely come back to try out the outdoor shower! The little kitchen is well equipped and the wifi as well as the heating worked perfectly. Furthermore Steve was super helpful and a very friendly host.

It was very lovely. I would definitly stay there again! The wifi did not work, that was to bad. The service was great. Steve, the owner of the appartement, was very kind to us. He explained everything.

The apartment is very spacious for a couple. It was very clean on arrival, and the owner was friendly, informative, and flexible about meeting us (also at departure). We were given two sets of keys, which was very appreciated since we had two different agendas in Paris. The heating worked when it was needed (especially in the bathroom, drying towels quickly). We didn't really make use of the kitchen, but the refrigerator was nice to have for drinks. As it was mid-October, we didn't use the terrace either, although we did open up one of the big window/doors for air on a couple of the sunny days. The wifi was stable and fast, and there was plenty of very hot water. The bed we used (in the main room) was comfortable (on the firm side). It was quiet at night. The location is perfect. Recommended.

The studio was great and slept 5 comfortably. The loft makes it fun for the kids. We were amazed at the ceiling height and the veranda to sit and have your coffee in the morning is fantastic. I'LL BE BACK!

Apartment is well located near the metro and prominent sightseeing locations. Taxis are available round the clock and the neighbourhood is safe to move about on foot. Streets are lined with good cafes and restaurants with a few serving chinese cuisine. It is closer to most up country train stations. Host is very friendly, helpful and available on phone for any assistance.. Apt has excellent WiFi connection and music system. Kitchen could do well by providing basic items such as sugar, tea bags and coffee sachets. Should stock map of Paris, metro, sightseeing booklets and tourist related information. Apt is ideal for a family comprising 2 adults and 2 children though the bed in the room may not be sufficient for 2 adults. Linen may need to be replaced as they show signs of wear. Shower needs fixing probably locating it to the far end on the right. The balcony could be tastefully done up for an evening sit out dinner.

Great location. The owners of La Fon were very friendly and helpful, and their food is quite good. Bakery across the street is excellent. Walking distance to many things such as les Halles, Pompidou, Marche des Enfants Rouges. The ladder still needs to be stabilized. My daughter slept in the loft, and I had to hold the ladder when she went up and down, or it would start to slip. The towels and bedding are very tired and should be replaced. The whites are not so white any more and the chair in the living room needs to be covered or replaced. There is room for a love seat or more chairs for just sitting. That said, we loved the apartment and would stay there again. Steve was charming and helpful on our arrival. We ended up using the outside shower even in the 50 degree temps because the bathroom is quite difficult. Faucet on side of tub instead of at the end is problematic.
Owner's reply: After your departure, I completed the following refreshments to my apartment: Complete repaint, installation of a secure stair to the mezzanine, installing a shower and shower door in the bath, new towels and bedding. There are 6 chairs in the apartment plus seating on the sofa. I replaced one chair with a new Italian leather chair and I'm looking for an antique captain's chair. I look forward to seeing you again!

We had an excellent stay at the apt. We were five adults and we found everything we need. The apt is very comfortable and very well located, it's very close to the subway and to the main attractions. The owner was very nice and very helpful, it was like to have an old friend waiting for us in Paris. The internet was working perfectly and the outdoor shower was a hit, everyone love it. We loved this apartment. It is very charming and very French with a lovely ambiance created by very tasteful cream furnishings, along with stone wall. Lovely to look at and especially nice to enjoy the little terrace through the french doors. The owner was excellent also. Prompt, reliable kind and very helpful. Location good too. I look forward to staying here again.

The proprietor of the apartment expected us and was very friendly-the apartment was fine for us as a family with two teenagers, who occupied the bed underneath the ceiling - we all liked it, well situated in the Marais

The apartment at Rue Volta was a previously renovated studio style unit that had the conveniences to accommodate our family of three without concern. Our child slept on an elevated loft, accessed by a ladder, above the kitchen/bathroom area which was fine for kids but a bit awkward for adults, but we slept downstairs anyway. It was well located to the Metro and quiet at night. We were able to successfully cook a nice meal in the unit and there are ample grocery stores only a few minutes away. The hosts were diligent with their contact and support, and very friendly and willing to assist further. The only difficulty we had was that the power circuit tripped at random and we had to reset the circuit breaker each time. Oh, and the shower does not have a curtain making it more difficult to keep the tiny bathroom dry. The presence of a washing machine, and great speaker system to connect your music to, was excellent.
Owner's reply: The power problem was due to a leaky faucet. The faucet has been replaced and the problem resolved.

Appartement très agréable et situé dans un quartier tranquille et bien desservi. La terrasse privée avec plantes est un endroit idéal pour prendre le petit déjeuner ou un verre les soirs d'été. L'appartement est très bien équipé et très pratique, idéal comme base pour visiter Paris et nous y retournerons. Seul petit bémol, le loft est un peu dangereux pour les enfants (et même les adultes: aucune balustrade et une échelle fixée seulement par des élastiques passés dans 2 crochets visses dans le sol du loft... une des visses s'est défaite alors que j'essayais de descendre, me causant une grande frayeur et un bel hématome ... le propriétaire s'est empressé de nous envoyer - un dimanche - quelqu'un pour réparer). Les rideaux du salon mériteraient bien aussi d'être lavés car très poussiéreux.

El apartamento es muy comodo, luminoso y limpio, ademas esta muy completo y organizado, y tiene una muy buena ubicación para recorrer la ciudad, y ademas Steve es un gran anfitrion y nos trato muy amablemente, y se ha brindado para todo.-

Appartamento piccolo per 5 persone, ma vivibile. Con ogni tipo di comfort: asciugacapelli, wi-fi gratis... Padronde di casa gentilissimo. Ottima posizione: metropolitana sotto casa, Carrefour a 2 passi e panettiere ancora più vicino. Molto soddisatti!!
